Sometimes pastaves are difficult to distinguish from regular mojaves since mojos vary greatly! When I first opened this thread, I immediately noticed the crazy amounts of yellow in this snake and the rich blacks. It's got great contrast and it's definitely got some pastel influence in it. How about a pictures of your mojo for comparison? For science! :gj:
I second this! More snakes please!

What would the odds be of a breeder not knowing he was selling a Pastave ? Versus he's just got insane blushing ?

I find it hard to tell the difference between a pastave and a mojave too. From what i've read, the head of a mojave is always solid black while a pastave should have blushing in it. Show us some photos of your mojave, i'd love to see him.

This is not necessarily true. I have produced many extremely blushed Mojaves, that were just mojaves. I do agree it is a pastave due to the lighter head coloring which usually happens when pastel is mixed in.

Wow I agree with pastave. That is one cool looking snake!
(to me) the face is very different from a mojo. Mojos seem to have grey stripes on their face rather than yellow.
