Are you using belly heat or back heat?

I recommend trying every 4 days, not every 2 days. I also assist-feed within 3 weeks post shed if they haven't taken something on their own by then.

First, however, leave them alone for 4 days, and fill their bin with crumpled newspaper, then introduce a hopper mouse late at night.

NEVER leave prey animals in with snakes for days. It is pointless, and will PREVENT them from eating...hopper mice are weaned, and HAVE teeth--they just might attack your snake, if they have no food. For whatever reason, once snakes refuse a food item, they NEVER eat it if they can still smell it. You have to take it away, and try again another time. Leave the hopper in for 3 hours, max, and then remove it if it's uneaten. Then wait 4 days and try a live rat pup. If that's refused, it's time to assist-feed.

I get a few difficult starters every year, it's just part of breeding.

    This is what I do...

Leave them all in the same tub in the bator till they all shed.
Put them in their own 6 qt tubs.
Aspen bedding with crumpled newspaper filling the tub and one hide.
    Leave for 1-2 days.
    Feed.

Last season I had 12 babies and all but 2 ate the first time I offered prey.
