haha I wouldnt know since I am unemployed and I have only ever worked at one place that I got fired from a week after I was hired

Good ol' Wal-Mart (YEEEHAW!) as a Cashier :D

I got canned because I took a few days off due to gull bladder problems. Then my house burnt down :D ( YUS SMILEY FACE only because that smiley shows how much the world hates me haha)

Basically the massive B word of a manager wanted me to work 2 days after me watching everything I own go up in smoke. I laughed in her face and never called back into work.

Like seriously come on. I hated wal mart. Best way to describe working there is. Wal mart its self is Hitler. The managers are the gestapo. The customers are the aryan race and the staff are jewish people. It was aweful there, just terrible.

My mom worked there as a cashier before and she had to pee really really really bad and asked if she could go. They told her no! Your shift is over in a half an hour go then.

Sorry but if that would have been me I would have walked passed her and gone to the wash room. They have no right to tell you when you can relieve your self.

/rant. Morale of the story. Dont work at wal mart and dont buy from there either.

I really don't do the whole Skype thing. But I would probably be fairly active in a chat-room or instant messenger (do people even do IM anymore??) setting. It's a shame the chat feature on this site is so under utilized :(

Oh and as for walmart: yes, they're awful. Hubby worked there for awhile. He took some vacation time one time and they asked him to work on one of those days. He said ok but he wanted to be paid for his vacation day as well as for working, or get his vacation day back. His manager said no. So hubby said he wasn't going to work it. The manager got all huffy and said "well, you're getting paid anyway!" huh??

They also cap people's raises there. The deal is you can get up to a quarter raise a year, if you get a good evaluation. But after you've been there so long (like 15 yrs or something) then that's it. No more raise.
