Not something I'd breed but it is a bee...$80 is a deal

Looks bee to me, just not a good one color wise. I wouldn't breed it either. It should be holding its yellow better. http://img.tapatalk.com/aefdc33b-7e90-2810.jpg
Not the best picture, but this is my bee at close to 500 grams. She is still holding her yellow. $80 is cheap though.

It's a Bee no doubt about that, not something g I would ever put in a breeding project but a good animal if you are looking for a pet, as for the $80 just remember it is a rescue so what you think is a good deal may not be and cost you more than a nice looking animal that is not a rescue.

I would certainly rescue that Bee for $80, but I would not breed him due to his low color quality.
He'll probably make an awesome pet!

You are correct, chewy. He's a low grade bee :gj:. I also would never breed him. Dish out the extra bucks to get a hot male bee to put to your pastel and produce something you'll be proud of!

For 80 I would pick it up just to add to my collection. Even if you don't plan on breeding it, it's still a cool looking animal for a pet.
We could all be jumping to conclusions also, maybe some more pics will show a lot more yellow. You never know.

Yes it's certainly a bee.
But as brown as it is I'd never breed that. Indiscriminate breeding is what produced him, and face it he's not what you think of when you think of a bumblebee ball python. He will certainly never produce high quality bright colored offspring, although if you had an exceptional female he might produce average offspring.
I am ranting a bit I suppose, but it pains me to see people breeding low quality animals just to produce a certain morph. Pastels of course come to mind first, but bees and fires and vanillas all fall into that category as well. If I'm going to breed for a morph, I want the best quality animals I can find, so that their offspring will be even better.
I can pick up $50 pastels all day long, but I'd never breed one. If I get a pastel to breed, I want one of like Robin's babies out of Winston, and I'll happily pay $250 + for it.
$80 is certainly a good price, even if he's just a pet.

So you guys think he wont produce any nice looking off spring? I picked him up, he certainly has dull coloring. But honestly, I love it... it's super grungy looking... but I don't want it as a pet as I want to get into breeding for a living eventually, can't make room for pets on the rack!
