    Sita is correct. This is a very dark BCI. I doubt its an anery - it's too brown, not grey. But perhaps that's due to the pic. Once he sheds for you, take some pics and post them here again and we'll go from there. Use a better camara too, lol... ;)

    Care for a BCI is very similar to a Ball Python. Here's the caresheet so you can read up on their care.

    Boas are generally very handelable. This one does look a little po'd in the pic, but if he's just been moved from his previous home, he's understandably upset. Give him a few days to settle in and then start handling him gently. You'll have lap boa in no time. These guys are terrific animals and make great pets - way different from our BPs. Enjoy him!

    Definitely NOT a Dumeril's and I'm not seeing any ghost or anery there either. My vote is for a darker regular Colombian BCI OR I'm leaning more towards some sort of CA (also a BCI).
