Edit: Will any lamp work? or does it need to be an actual heat lamp?

Any lamp will increase the temperature, how much depends on the bulb wattage, type of reflector (if any), and bulb shape

So off topic but still with my tub, how much humidity is too much? Mine has risen to about 64%

64% is actually a good level :gj:

What level is too high? I can solder more holes into the tub if it gets too high.

In my opinion, anything over 75% is too high. I have good sheds and no RI problems by keeping my humidity between 60% and 70%.

Alright sounds good it currently has gotten up to 74% so I am going to have to solder more holes into it.

Does anyone have a good solutionf or holding down a tub lid better? I used text boks on mine but the textbooks caused the humidity to rise as much as it did, I took them off and it's already below 70%
