    Probably not. I'd recommend getting a RHP.

    I use ultratherm heating pads for all my AP enclosures. I supplement those with low wattage IR heat bulbs or CHE's for my snakes that need higher ambient temps. My king and bull snakes are just fine with only belly heat but my carpets need higher ambient temps. Even without the supplemental heat source my ambient temps stay in the mid 70's. It hasn't gotten too hot here in GA yet. :)
