Tub for now so you can save up for a PVC later! That's what I'm doing. Can't get any easier than tubs.
Another vote for tubs.

Depends on the space. If the room is cool PVC or tank if you have a warm room (77+) Tub or PVC. PVC is always going to be my first choice they offer the most efficient heating and are easily maintained and hold humidity and heat reasonably well (depending on the design) Tubs offer very little in the way of heating options basically UTH or nothing and it is very hard to control ambient temps with only uths.

Once you go rack, you'll never go back;)

Tubs are a millions times easier in my opinion. I fought with tanks for several months, and it CAN be done RIGHT....but it's way too much effort.

I agree here. I just switched my girl into a tub because i had horrible humidity levels in my tank. I guess it depends on the room you have the snakes in. If I could control the heat and humidity in my room, I would still have my bp in the tank but unfortunately, I cant.

Re: tank or tub ?
Definately tubs!!!! We started with tanks, and them switched to tubs. Way, better. Easier to clean, holds humidity great, no problems with ambient, takes up less room.

Re: tank or tub ?
Since im a beginner, im sure my vote doesn't really count, lol
but we only have one snake and I understand the "ease" of the tub (when we upgrade in size, maybe i'll go that route)
For aesthetics, isn't the tank much more pleasing? I feel like when I invite our friends over to see the snake its either "look at her in her beautiful tank", or "come on over, I keep her here in this 'tub'" lol
Now that i learned the right way to use the heat & humidity, we are not having trouble maintaining it. Again, she's small and we have small tank- I may change my mind when we need to upgrade and I have to handle a big heavy tank :)

First off, the first priority should be providing the proper husbandry for the snake, and not looks... But I do understand what you are saying. This is one of the reasons why I use PVC cages. They are just as easy as a tub (since they are far more insulated than a tub you could argue that they are even easier) and look great.
