D3 beta weekend!

I've had a beta invite for a while, but just haven't gotten around to it. Played the MoP beta for about three seconds and said nope, this lagfest ain't for me.

Started hacking? people were hacking back in 1.07 (and more than likely before that) way before hammerdins were even a viable build. Negative skill items in 1.07, now those were some good ol days.

For those who don't know you would but on an item with negative skills and it would roll back your skills. so say your charged bolt is level 1, if it gave -3 skills, put your charged bolt at 0 then roll back to 255 and then 254, so you would have a level 254 charged bolt :) loved it. They had ammys that did the same thing with life in 1.09, but for some reason it would only work below a certain level, like 39 or something i think.

well switching to windows now, woo hoo.

so anyone else completely disappointed with the server appearing to have more down time than up time lol

Haven't tried it this weekend since I had the beta invite a week ago. Although I think I have done more in MoP then D3 beta and just got the invite to that Friday I think.

Sarcastic time.. "Hmmm... work? Or video games..." :rolleyes: doesn't help that in 2-4 weeks we're moving. :P So no beta for.me....

I may try it out.. but with me working 30-50 hours a week and the fiancée off.work due to surgery I work.. pack then sleep. :P

I still need to beat.. Skyrim, ACR, Halo Reach Legendary run with skulls. And umm... oh yeah! Finish my run on Gears 3.

Jeez. :( I've been out Or video games so long I don't even remember the hardest difficulty on GOW3..... LOL

I'm still playing skyrim.

Well, the open beta weekend is stress testing for the servers..

got a question for yall. D3 isn't gunna be like WoW where you gotta pay every month is it? You buy it once and can play forever, just like the old ones?

Yup, although I'm sure, much like starcraft, you'll still log in and need online access for achievements.

i preordered d3 back in 2009 on the first pre order and release date. the store closed... blizzard shipped my copy to me overnite today will have it tomorrow
