    If that were mine I wouldn't be taking it to the vet for that injury. The jaw is symmetrical and seems to be in perfect alignment and the soft tissue damage is very minimal. I'd keep an eye on it until it heals and if it started to look like a problem, such as drainage or more than minimal swelling or any difficulty swallowing on the next few feeds, then I'd take it to the vet. At this point, I'd swab it off every day with a little betadine and see what develops.

    Checked her again this evening and it looks almost completely normal. The scale is still pressed in a bit but no swelling or seeming discomfort. Here's an updated pic. She wasn't real thrilled with me holding her head still and gave me a nice annoyed look. Thanks again everyone.
