    Hi,

    If the egg didn't look like that when layed then I think it is getting too wet on the bottom for some reason.

    So maybe get rid of press n seal wrap I do have a few little holes on each side front and back but might not be enough to get a bit more air flow.

    Hi,

    I'd check to make sure the eggs aren't touching the perlite - I say that because that was the problem when I saw it on an egg of mine.

    You can see how much it swelled up;

    Is the condensaton running down the egg and pooling on that part or anything?

    In that last picture it does look as though the wrap is lying on the top of the egg which probably isn't a good thing.

    No the wrap is a little bit above the eggs. It doesn't touch the eggs. When I checked last Tuesday there was just a little bit of condensation around the inside of the tub on the bottom but very minimal and a tiny bit on the press n seal in the middle. The eggs are on egg crate and they don't come in direct contact with the hatch rite. The pix u sent looks just like what I have going on with mine. So idk would you get rid of wrap and see if more air flow works. Thanks everyone who is helping I really appriciate it.

    I have one in my second clutch that looks just like yours. Mine candled with good veins and other than that spot seems to be doing fine.

    Thanks for the reply. Ya I think it will be ok also as I said it candled well if you looked at my vid on you tube it has good veining. I still want to see if I should remove the press n seal. Previous posters did suggest this and I think I probably should. Idk. This is my first clutch after a very long time out of the hobby and many yrs ago I guess I was just lucky and didn't have an issue like this early on in the incubation process. Just want everything to go smooth. Thanks again.

    I left the press n seal on mine. Just open the lid every few days to air it out and I also wipe off any excess moisture from the press n seal and eggs.

    Thanks again . I will hopefully have this figured out soon. Maybe check a few times a week not just once a week. Thanks again for your help. I'll try to keep updates going on here and my you tube channel for anyone interested.
