When I first brought Peanut home, he was beginning shed and spent an entire week in the water dish. He hasn't soaked since, and I've had 4 perfect sheds with a humidity of 60%.

ya i'd say he'll shed just fine mine won't use hummidity box's either and always shed fine with the exact same hummidity you keep yours at but i raise it a little to about 65-70 when i see that they're eyes have clouded over. i'll bet the shed will do just fine

I will keep y'all updated on how the shed went. He has had the "blue eyes" for about a week now. So, I am expecting hm to shed mid to late week this week. I will keep my fingures crossed

Well, he had his first shed today. And it didn't come off in one piece. Over half of his head was shed and 3/4 of his body was shed. He still has some left on him, and it is located on the back part of his head and about a few inches behind his head. Is there anything I can do to remove the remaining skin from him, or does he have to remove it himself? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

My experience with bathing snakes is that if they think the water is too warm, they will do everything they can to get out. Try cooler water, not cold, but it should be cool to the touch. If you have ever put your hand in a tropical fish tank, that is the temperature it should be. It feels almost cold to me.
As far as the shed, you can soak him and gently pull off the shed, as long as it is not too difficult to come off. It's not a big deal to leave it until the next shed, if you want. I always help my snakes shed, if it doesn't come off.

you can soak the part that have the reminding peace of shed and try to scrub jently until it goes off.

As an update to Zeus's partial shedding. I fed a really good meal on Sat. night, and when he was done eatting, I went to put him back into his cage and noticed that when he swallowed the mouse the stretching of his muscles had broken most of the left on dead skin was pulled away from him. I have yet to try to remove this. I didn't want to risk him giving me back what I just gave him. So, I will wait til he has digested his food before attempting to remove his dead skin. I will keep y'all posted.
