That's what goggles are for! :) But personally I prefer spring snowboarding... flying down a snow covered mountain in a t-shirt -- nothing beats that! It's so great... It's supposed to warm up to the high 40's/low 50's later this week so maybe it'll be nice this weekend... I haven't been snowboarding in over a year :(

    My BP's
The only activities around here when it snow's, besides riding the snowmobile's, is the polar bear club. Awwwww.......The great ole polar bear club. That's when a bunch of us dummies put on the ole bathing suits and jump into a half frozen pond and spend about 15 to 30 second's in it. Havent dont it for about 10 year's......and dont really miss it.

I broke my toe the other day running around barefoot in the snow. My toe became numb and it got badly messed up. I should be a polar bear.

I was running around in boxers and no shoes on during the blizzard. After running like 1/4 mile around the yeard I came across a big snow pile that looks tempting, so I got to full speed and slammed into it. I blew through it and went down a big hill and my feet went through the snow and hit the ground because the wind made it thinner there. My toes were completely numb so when I felt a small scape I knew something was up. I got inside to look at it and say skin craped off, the cold kept it from bleeding. So I figured it'd be fine and all but when my foot got feeling back the toe didn't...for like a half hour. It hurts like a SOB, but it'll be fine.

    Never run around barefoot....in snow...

At least you didnt do like my brother did about 7 or 8 years ago. During one of our freak snowstorms, he decided to go have a few at the local bar. He didnt want to drive home (which was only about 4 blocks away)so he walked. On the journey home he saw a large pile of show and decided to jump into it....Little did he know there was a fire hydrant in the middle of that pile....He broke his collar bone in that jump. He hasnt had a drink since.

i've only broken toes and fingers
ouchcollar bones are one of the most painful breaks
they put you outta comission for about 3-5 months depending on how bad the break is

it wouldn't make me quit drinking though thats for sure
    not unless its happened before
