    For cheaper food, I'd recommend going to an expo nearby or contacting one of the people who runs it. They tend to know the dealers in the area and you can generally find one that won't have to ship. Just make sure you get good recommendations first instead of just going with the cheapest. I get my rodents from a local guy I found that way when I moved here. Also, if they're local, you don't have to buy as many at once and never have to worry about getting rid of a lot of the smaller stuff when they move up to a larger size.
