A BP lazy? Never!! ;) Yep. you can see the look on his face, its saying, "I really wanna get in here....but I'm too stuffed to move!" :lol:

And no, I got Bastian from a local reptile shop here in StL.

I don't think Phil has put on much length since I got him, though it's sometimes hard to tell since he doesn't always cooperate in stretching out straight so I can measure him, but he's certainly put on some girth.

He took two rats last week. One on Sunday evening, and the second on Friday evening. He dropped a load in his water dish Wednesday or Thursday evening, and was prowling around like he does when he's hungry, so I offered him another rat on Friday (and yes, I immediately took his water dish over and cleaned it out when I discovered his "deposit").

After two rats last week, I'm expecting him to drop a really big load sometime in the next few days.

a good way to mesure a snake because like you said they can be very stubborn when you want them to streth out.

just take a string and go from his head down to his tail fallowing his back then pull the string straight and mesure the string

its alot more acurate then trying to stretch him out
