To the previous poster, I do want to get into it slowly. Only planning on getting one or two, however I wanted to get one or two that wouldn't depreciate on me over time if I decided to sell them because I wasn't into ball pythons. I.e. it would make more sense for me to get a normal female ball python over a male normal, because over time the female would gain more value and male would be next to worthless. That's sort of where I was going with this thread.
I am now considering just getting a male albino and then picking up adult female normals locally and have them ready for when he matures.

Very prudent of you. Just keep in mind that there is worth beyond the value of these animals. Own it because you have an interest in it, not for it's value, and you will always come out ahead in the long run.
