Herpstat 1 or VE 200. Need help.

I have the new Herpstat 1 as well as the VE-200, and they are both solid units. I prefer the flexability, smaller package and dimming feature of the Herpstat.

I will be doing a side by side video review in a few weeks.

I love my VE200 but have never owned the Herpstat so I can't comment on that. My VE was very easy to setup right out of the box and is working like a charm with my RBI rack.

Herpstat 1 they have more functionality and are easier to use.

I agree that the Herpstat has more functions, but the VE-200 is super easy to use; easier than the Herpstat since the VE is set it and go. The Herpstat is more complicated by virtue of the number of options.

I am currently using both.

Thanks to all. It seems as though the herpstat is winning and I like that I can buy it direct from them. Also my favorite color is blue so the herpstat is winning there too. I will be ordering one soon. Thanks again.

It is also a fair bit cheaper too... 145 CAD + shipping vs 114 CAD plus shipping. Based on previous transactions with Greg the shipping is about 22$ the same as Dion, tax is also the same. Not being able to buy direct costs quite a lot.

i love my ve-200 how it stils looks and holds temps spot on i have not had the pleasure of using a herpstat however either are awsome tools
