    I've said this in another thread recently. Personally, I have never seen an overweight BP. I see penty of underweight ones. BP's are not garbage disposals. They are not boas. They will only eat if they need to.

    Can you who say power feeding is bad explain why bush babies are bigger than our first year hatchlings? This debate has been had before and the consensus was that we cannot feed too much. If the animal takes a meal, give it to him. I maintenance feed one rat of appropriate size every 5-7 days. If you feed small meals very 5 days you will find that your animal will grow at an acceptable rate.

    I feed every 3 - 5 days with no issues (other than the occasional refusal). Once they reach adult size it will go to every 7. Everyone is growing at a nice rate.
