    surely the people that are "attacked" by pet snakes are those who have 25 ft. long snakes. i feel like i have no reason to be afraid of a 5 ft. ball python...do i?

    no not at all, unless your afraid of a little bite
    you are correct they were either burmees or reticulated and in one case an african rock python
    a few green aniconda's as well.
    and the people that lived described being constricted said it felt like rope being coiled around them and have a truck attached to each end driving in oposite directions

    I kinda get upset seeing a live mouse get crushed to death. But watching them constrict a pre killed food item is just as cool.
