    Check out the black plastic hides from reptile basics. They are awesome. Also thinner, so should be warmer than the log.

    yeah also I piled up the substrate inside to make it smaller but she has found a spot under that big log/branch that is standing up and keeps snuggling in there. I think she likes the added security. I couldn't believe there was enough room under there. Since she has found that little spot she doesn't use the other two hides too often. I don't want to remove it because she likes it. It is stable but I will be more comfortable if she is using "proper" hides.

    Commercial ones? Are those the black boxes? I haven't seen any but I will check the new reptile shop that just opened. They have a ton the other shops don't carry.

    Thanks Dr. Doolittle. I didn't see your post because I was answering the one before you and getting ready as well so by the time I actually hit the submit button your post was there. I will check them out and see how much they charge for shipping up here.
