Oh yeah, I knew what I was taking on when I got her. I did months and months of research.

Now that I've slept on it, I'm not really sure what I was thinking last night about even considering rehoming her. I think I just get in werid moods at times and start dreading certain things/thinking too deep into things.

I don't think I'll be rehoming her at all.
My morals when I get new pets are: I got them, so I should keep them if I'm able to.

If she's a live eater I'll just have to feed her live.

I had a weird thing one night when my wallet had been particularly badly beaten up and money was really really low, I sat thinking and worrying and panicking about how I was going to be able to afford to keep Pretzel. Even considered giving her to someone I knew wanted her. Woke up in the morning and she was up at the glass being all cute and I was kicking myself for even THINKING about parting with her :) You're not alone, don't worry :)

you can also try leaving the ft item in the tub over night( like on a lplate if you have bedding down. i done this and it took them a couple meals this way but they learned ot take ft for me with my snakes. I still offer live most the time but I not had a problem switching back and forth as needed,.

I don't care to feed live either but i have a couple that won't eat anything else. If you decide to rehome try this forum first.

Thanks everyone for all your replies! ^^

She DOES take PK actually- she's never refused that, but I don't think she likes the smell of them when they're dead. XD (I don't either) so maybe I'm just noheating them up enough.....

I can always go ask a petstore for some dirty gerbil bedding too. ^^

I'll try what I can to get her to eat, but there's no way she's leaving me. :3

I hear ball pythons love gerbils more than anything. Here's a thought I had when I got mine, in case she ever refuses f/t: Why not get a pet gerbil and keep it, and then rub the thawed mouse on it before feeding the mouse to the snake? Think it might work?

I'm sorry I never saw your reply. T.T

It went to spam in my email....

But we had gerbils up until not long ago.. Aside from more rats, I don't really want anymore pet rodents(gerbils are so skittery and smellyyy, and they don't acknowledge your exsistence like rats do)
