    I agree. All my boas use them too. It's true that boas aren't generally as shy as BPs, but they often do like their privacy.... :D

    I use cat litter boxes for my larger boas - just cut a whole and sand it down and there you go...

    I also use those dog houses/igloos for some of my really big snakes; they work well.

    I know this is a side note here but I keep 8 boas - 6 BCI's and 2 bcc's and have so for over 10 Years and every single one uses their hides - as much or some even more than my bps. So you're on the right track with providing a good hide. Regardless of whether your snake uses it or not, it should have a place to retreat to and hide if it chooses.
