Read the books upon my sister's suggestion and loved them! Really want to go see the movie but have had a very busy weekend. Hoping to go see it next weekend.

Re: The Hunger Games -- Suzanne Collins (not the movie)
One thing to remember... books are NOT movies.. movies are mostly.made to catch your attention Ans make you go WOW.. while books ate more of shall we say. Suspense with a picture you yourself usually make up. A classic example, a Love scene in a movie will be like 4 minutes long, compared to a love scene in a nook being like 30 words..LOL and on the other hand, in books more details are written out giving you the idea that you yourself are there, while if a movie tried to do that most people get bored. Hope that wasn't to confusing And it sisbt have to many spelling errors. :)

I I always enjoy the books over the movies likeHarry Potter, Hunger Games. There's so much more detail. I think the hunger games stuck to the story a little better than Harry potter did. I hate it when directors leave out stuff but how long would a movie be if they put everything in? I think it's with it but do others?

I loved the books. Very quick read though, I finished all three in less then a week. I hope to go see the movie tomorrow. My son got some special pre-release passes and saw the movie last week. He really liked it but said that there were a lot of scenes that'll make you cry.
