Re: Snickers is in need of new sized hides due to growth. recommendations?
I like the reptile basics hides to use for babies, as they are easy to clean, but for adults I also find that they're too small.
I use large pieces of cork flat for my adults to hide in and under. My large females will wedge themselves around them/under them, and generally move them little as they seem content to hide where they are placed.
For those with display enclosures, Pet Tech also makes some Jumbo sized caves that are perfect for the larger adult balls. I have also seen customers use jumbo cork rounds, the large ZooMed Reptishelters, jumbo sized Mopani wood, and combinations of all of the above. :)

I don't want to just "throw them away" when they are still perfectly fine.
Is there some reptile rescue org. in the Twin Cities that could make use of them and I could drop them off at when I'm in the area?
I say keep them. You can say "I have enough snakes" all you want, but it just isn't true and you will need them for a new hatchling one day. :D

Best hides on the market...:gj:! Pop Tart, cracker/cookie, and popcorn boxes are all very good as well. Best part about them is that they are FREE with the purchase of the food that is inside of them. The use of these as hides is also recycling at its best.
