I see OP is from Northamptonshire, England

In a cold climate like ours England/Ireland, Tubs are def not the way to go unless you have a nice warm snakeroom. The temperature drops really down in theese old un-isolated brickhouses :P

Yeahhh, yet another change of mind! Pretzel is small enough for now to stay in her overpriced viv, Pringle is going into a very nice viv we got for free from our friend next week on his own. When we have our own place, we're going to look at more options. Luckily my room in particular is always stupidly warm. So even if she was in a tub she ought to be fine.

I live in the northern part of the US. Our climate is also cold and wet. Snow and rain predicted today. My tubs are in a rack and I have no problems maintaining proper temps.
