LOL!!! All in good fun. Big Lou & Ralph Davis are a couple of my favorite herp guys, so we always clown around when we see each other at shows.

The facial hair is all mine. My 19 year old son has never seen me without a beard, though up until about 8 or 9 years ago, I kept the beard trimmed shorter.

I write for an online comics, gaming, and collector "magazine", and went out to cover the San Diego Comic Convention for them this year. On Saturday of the Con, I went in my wizard costume, and I don't think I have EVER been photographed so many times in one day, even on my wedding day. One of the best was the shot taken with a gal who had a great Frodo costume. :)

Being a hardcore superman fan, we might just get along :) But I've never bought a comic book :)

I've never really read LOTR, I got them in my room collecting dust. Too long, instead I'll just stick to the books under 200 pages :)

First time I tried reading LOTR, I bogged down maybe a fourth of the way through the first book. The second time, I got past the foundational stuff in the first part, and from then on out, the story just keeps you on a roller coaster ride to the end, at which point, I was almost yelling, "WAIT!!! IT CAN'T END!!! WHAT HAPPENS NEXT???"

The movies are probably as good an adapation of the books as anyone is likely to be able to make on film. They had to leave a lot of things out, but they still managed to keep fairly well to the essence of the story (with some exceptions occasionally pointed out by LOTR purists).

I find reading to be one of life's great pleasures.
