    I was begining to think that maybe i was worrying to much. But after seeing that BP that died a tragic death on the car engine, I know that im not. I have looked long and hard and do not believe he has mites. But i may just go ahead and take him to a vet just to have him checked over for anything since he/she has never been to a vet. And then maybe i can quit calling it a he/she. And on the caring part, thank you. I do care very much. I even break for wooly worms on the road. Now that's carring. haha

    Whoa, hold up. you're bordering on paranoid now :)

    Looks like all is good. But just collect a fecal and bring it in. You sound like the model owner. I keep mine, it helpes me relax. you're gonna die of worry.

    Yes, fecal exams are very useful for the vet. Here's a website that discusses the need for annual checkups for snakes.

    HELLO BALLKINGDOM, AWSOME SITE!
    I HAD KEPT A COUPLE OF FECALS FROM BOTH MY BP'S AND RED TAIL, THEN AFTER A WHILE JUST TOSS THEM OUT, HOW LONG IS SNAKE FECAL GOOD FOR SEALED IN A ZIP LOCK?

    you should bring it in immediatly or you can fridge it for up to 24 hours or so.
    Believe me I've read alott of fecals (I hear you guys snickering.lol) and they need to be fresh.
