I normally feed between 8 & 11 PM. I use the same theory that some of have as far as the snakes being nocturnal. When I see them out and about I usually try to feed them then. The time is always late in the evening after dark.

I usually feed my group after dinner. Usually it's around 9pm but can be as early as 6:30ish or as late as midnight. I've notice that they DO seem a bit more active when I feed later, but once you get that rat smell in the room then everyone's up.

Ok so I see that some of you feed during the day with success. So I went ahead and tried feeding around 1230pm and all my animals ate with the exception of my larger lesser who is off feed right now. I even got my little mojave girl to take her first meal from me! Needless to say I'm thrilled, perhaps noon is a good time for me to offer :)

I currently have the day/night lamp that. Cuts over to night at 10pm. It used to be 9 before daylight savings. For right now she comes out within 30sec of starting the zombie dance. This wont be the case soon as i will soon be switching to a tub system and she wont have the lamps anymore.

So when do you guys and gals feed and maybe there is something behind the later at night is better theory? Maybe they were just more hungry because they had to wait longer, or maybe they are just more awake and on the prowl later in the night? Opinions?

    4 in the freaking morning.
    I have no idea why.

They're supposed to be "crepuscular" so it must be dawn or dusk for them, somewhere.
