I think you can also start your own line if you start breeding the snakes for one certain trait. Like graziani pastels were bred for blushing and nerd lemon pastels were bred for color...etc

Wow so theres quite a few out there then, bioteacher those are some nice pictures and I'd be partial to agreeing with gardenfiend 138, those liesen line black pastels look very nice as do all the others :)! TMurphy I haven't heard of that line before do you have any pictures at all? I heard the same thing AJexotics, Emilio if your correct though do you think this mis-understanding could be due to confusion between the two morphs? Thats always interesting to know Deborah and again some lovely animals :), thanks for everyone's input so far!

Here is a Ian G. (Outback Reptiles) line female Black Pewter het Hypo at about 750g, you can see in she kept a lot of black and has not yellowed much at all, and look at the head blushing:

I have read and heard that Barnhart and Liesen line Black pastels have the trick gene attached to them, which is why they are so twisted up :)

The Outback (Ian G.) line is nice, but I still love my Liesen line female - she is holding her black much better. I also heard the same about Outback reducing/preventing duck-billing... I'll also be finding out later this year as my Liesen female should be good to go.

Well snakesRkewl and bioteacher hopefully I'll be joining you in the attempt to produce supers, probably not until next year though, I've just picked up my female though who was collected for me in Hamm from Mike Willbanks :D!

Hopefully that link will work too cause I've never tried to upload a picture into a thread yet and the good old copy and paste doesn't work!
