    He seems to just wanna stay in his hide, I got the humidity raised to 70 so I'll leave him alone unless I see him out cruzin around, thanks again everyone

    Sometimes you can notice a shed coming sooner, by your snake getting a pink belly. Then after that, you will go from cloudy to completely blue, then back to clear. A few days after that you will have a shed. I get my humidity to 70 as soon as I notice a shed cycle start. As far as food, some will eat, some wont. But if you wish to just leave him be, it absolutely will not hurt him to skip a meal, and eat after he sheds. I usually just leave mine be when I notice a shed coming. I have one that is really grumpy when in shed. However, I have one who will eat at the pink belly stage.
