Until you can get some Pam, paper towels in tank and bath in warm water with a drop of dawn dish soap. Reptile basics also carries something called Reptile Relief which I am told is effective also. *knock on wood* I have not had to deal with those little buggers. But have Pam and reptile relief on hand, just in case.

i have him on paper towels and using reptile relief spray...i didnt see any on paper towels or anywhere else in the cage for that matteri just saw 1 on him while he was inside his moist hide, it could have been 1 already dead that i missed when i did the first clean up but i re-did a reptile releif cleaning so i will see what happens

Just be sure to keep him away from the rest of your snakes. The last thing you need at this point is for the buggers to jump to the rest of your collection.

One other thing you can do until the PAM arrives is give him a really big water bowl at least big enough so he can soak himself. You will surprised that they will actually try to drown the little buggers themselves.

How come nobody agreed with me about nix? Its cheap, you can spray it on the snake, its easier to get then PAM, it works and you get a whole bunch of it at once. To me its the best mite solution out there.

Maybe people are uneasy about having to mix it in order to use it. When pam all you do is have to spray it on.
Never used Nix but I know pam does wonders.

The article I posted in my reply above (#17) talks about nix and recommend it over pyrethrins. I just didn't say anything about it because my vet didn't talk about it.
