iphone 4S crashed

The apple store is great, but I doubt that they will replace it over this issue as there isn't a hardware issue. this is a software issue. they might be able to fix the issue but I wouldn't expect a new device.

Did he get it new or used and if it was used was it jailbroken? That sounds like a jail break issue to me and if it's jail broken apple won't touch it.
