I play loud music that shakes the house when cleaning the snakes and rodents. DOnt phase them at all.

New comers Get used to it quick when first here as i play music a lot. Ive had them feeding while the bass is rippling the water in their racks. Still dont phase them one bit.

While my music doesn't shake the house, I do play it pretty loudly and see no adverse effects.

My viv used to be right next to my huge television and my friends and I had a "Harry Potter" marathon (all eight movies in 48 hours FTW!) and my snake got VERY active from, I can only assume, the vibrations from the television. When everyone left, I rearranged my furniture so the viv was about 10 feet away. I also moved the viv and the TV a few inches off the wall so vibrations wouldn't transfer through the wall. Ever since, my snake hasn't cared at all when the TV is playing epic movies. She has slept contentedly though all three "Lord of the Rings," "Phantom of the Opera," and two seasons of blaring "Glee."

When you feel a bass sound vibrate in your chest, just think, that is the only way your snake "hears" at all, and it is to warn them that they are in danger of being trampled by a large heard of grazing beasts in western Africa. :O Poor things!

My BP's hide slipped out of my hand the other day when i was cleaning and it scared her, but I think if it's not direct vibrations they can feel, they will be okay. :)

I listen to a lot of music, loudly. Mostly metal, and the occasional dubstep, Pretzel is just fine with them :) However she seems to stress out a LOT when the hoover is out...I live with my Grandparents and have to tell my nan not to hoover my room. I'll get Pretzel out of there, make her comfortable and then hoover my room, as she has gone off feed before :)

I listen to a lot of electro-industrial/aggrotech/powernoise music, and occasionally my snake will come out of his hide to see what's going on if if the song has a particularly strong beat. I think he can feel the OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ :P

Doesn't seem to phase him for long though.
