    I don't give hides to my big girls in tubs. Though with smaller ones i do.

    I live in the chihuahuan desert where avg humidity is 10% at best. I use spagnum moss blended in to forest floor bedding to help humidity levels. I use somewhat more spagnum at hot end of tank and somewhat less at the cooler end

    Temps and humidity is still a constant battle for me, but not as difficult as last year when I was trying to use aspen as a substrate :)
