Ball pythons aren't like dogs in that every dog is some breed or another and if you can't tell its a mix. Unless he was sold to you as a morph he is almost certainly normal ball python. Think about it like this. You see a ton of pennies in your day to day life. Almost all of those pennies are totally normal. There are pennies that are worth big money. A 1943 copper penny could be worth $10,000+. This forum is a lot like a coin collecting forum. You hear about and see all the rarest and coolest parts of peoples collection. That doesn't mean that they are common. Unless you payed extra for it assume you have a normal ball python. Don't be too upset though. Some of us really love the normals. Its what drew me to Ball pythons and I will always love them.

Def a very unique looking normal! Unique is good :) oh, and as long as he is taking down the food, he will Def look like some of the big beauties u have seen on the forum... quicker then u might think! Just give him prey items slightly higher around then the thickest part of his body every 4 to 5 days. He looks pretty thin. 2 or 3 months of that and he will plump up for ya. Once he gets bigger u can drop off to every 7 to 10 days if u would like. Enjoy! Bet u will have more in the future! Lol
