    they are reffered to as false water cobra's because although they are not Naja, or even front fanged they often use a threat posture very similar to real cobras

    Gorgeous animal Nicole!! This species is on my wishlist too - maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to add one to the family myself. Congrats on a darn fine critter - she's really really nice!
