When I first got my normal female back in '05, she ate f/t hoppers (mice or rats, she didn't care) without any issue but then about a year after having no issues with feeding whatsoever, she started turning her nose up to anything that was f/t. So I eventually caved after her binge was rounding on four months and decided to start feeding her pre-killed mice which she took for awhile until one day, one of the mice turned out to be just stunned and started moving around a bit. After that, she'd only take things that were moving which I was hesitant to do because you always hear the tales of snakes being mauled by their prey but I've been letting her have live prey for about four years now and haven't had anymore feeding troubles so I suppose it was a fair trade off in the end. :/
