More expensive, but I like hatch rite. I have only had a handful of clutches, but I haven't lost an egg. No issues with humidity.
I haven't tried vermiculite but I have no reason to switch as I only have a few clutches a year so the price is not as big an issue.

Well went to Lowes and they only had a bag of Vermiculite that had additives in it. Was told they don't sell just plain Vermiculite. Anyone where else I can buy it? Online maybe?

Check an ACE hardware I had a hard time finding it too.
