    Scenting with bedding or putting a rat in with mice for a day or so hasn't fared well for me, so I literally started picking up a mouse and a rat and rubbing them together, and have seen some success with this.

    I've gotten all of my pythons to switch by just only offering rats. I watch their weights and only offer a rat each feeding. If there don't take it, I pull the rat out and wait until next week. They eventually realize that this is what they are going to eat if they are hungry. I just make sure none of them are dropping weight.
