Re: Unusul Belly Shot of my new possible Albino Het girl
Those are some unusual belly markings. But I don't see anything that would lead me to believe that she has or is getting scale-rot. There is some yellow in her belly, but it looks to be consistent with her side scale colors.

I would definitely breed her, and if you get any males with that same banding on the belly. Hold one back and breed him back to his mom and see what you get. ;)

Its kinda hard to tell on my phone, but it looks like healed scale rot to me. A bad case of scale rot will kinda make the sides stretch over and fuse over the bad area. It is kinda hard to explain. Best way to know for sure is look at the scales, do the bands actually go into the longer belly scales or does it look like the ovalish side scales replaced the belly scales?

Here is a pic from "the complete ball python" that shows what I am talking about. http://img.tapatalk.com/43a684c0-68f5-28a5.jpg

Doesn't look like scale rot to me! my Nergal has belly color/pattern that looks a bit like yours, and he's 100% happy and healthy.

See, this is just how part of his belly looks, see the yellow mark?
