The silver cream burns me when I have used it on myself, but then again I am a puss. My wife found a exotics vet and made an appt for tomorrow. They are going to do the check up for free since its a rescue!! I'll keep you guys posted!

That's wonderful news! The vet may have a different idea, but I swear by silver sulfadiazine cream; it's done wonders for my boa's nose injury.

Hey guys just a quick update on the rescue we just got. First off it is a male for sure and unfortunately he's taken a turn for the worse, maybe. I took him back to the vet today because he was drooling like crazy. Vet looked him over again, noticed some pink blotches on his belly and said it could be either he might start the shed cycle soon or it could be a septic infection. Either way he does have a RI after all. His mouth looks great and still, there is no weezing or bubbling at his nose but it's a RI alright. We are playing a game of keeping the RH up for a MUCH needed shed and keeping the open wounds clean and dry. Anyway the amount of drool and the formation of the pinkish blotches were pretty worrisome. I got some med's for him and he got a shot today. Anyway, just thought you guys might want to know.
