I start with smalls then at 350 grams move up to mediums. Minis are too small for BP's. I have some for baby carpet python.

Yep reptile basics. Rich is awesome

    Slim
I keep a few Reptile Basics smalls around but a BP will grow into a medium pretty quickly. When using a rack set up, most any BP you bring home will be fine going into a medium right off the bat. In a rack set up, it's like a hide with-in a hide.

Also, Rich's hides are easy to clean.

There are many many suppliers of the ABS hides, they are all about the same just buy from one that is cheaper. http://npicages.com/abs_plastic_hide_boxes.html have an end opening design that is good for small tubs that are longer than wide.

Thanks, but I think I like the ones with the offset opening better.

You can always get a medium and just put crumbled up newspaper in it until the snake grows into the bigger hide. Plus it saves you money from having to rebuy a bigger size.

Thanks, I am all good on size. Have some hides and snakes already, but like those ones. Will be ordering some today!
