    Well, I know how to pop babies, but adults are a bit more of a tricky business. The proven females are from a local breeder, who says they've laid eggs in 2010 and then had a year's rest. So I'd trust their word. But yes, I do need to learn how to probe! Maybe said breeder can show me how :)

    From everything I've heard, The Purple Seahorse has a pretty good reputation in BC.

    $150 IS a good deal for an adult normal. We're in BC too and we also paid $250 for each of our biggie normal girls, so if you can get one for $150 that would be a steal.

    However, you can't really put a price on getting a snake (especially a future breeder) from a reputable breeder that will give you the snakes history, eating habits, and answer any questions about her past.

    The pet store snake wouldn't come with any background, which might not be such a good thing. Not the stores fault, but still something to think about.
