Was such a dilemma in regards to this, spent ages emailing bobby keller at finegtps about her now different odd behaviour, i wasnt expecting this as breeding was long time ago it seems. He told me it sounds like gravid behaviour and to get a nest box in there.
i have heard and read that maternal is better for first timers like me and helps you understand the temps and humidity better through good monitoring. On the flip side, copulation was observed 3 times only back in September, so was expecting a low fertility count.
In the end she kinda made up my mind for me as her coils were quite flat and loose, i noticed 1 slug and took the gamble to artificially incubate, luckily the incubator was set up already just in case, although bit of a stress waiting for the stat to arrive.
In all there is 13 good and 1 slug.
Its day 4 now and veins look to be clearer and growing thicker like im used to seeing from fertile eggs.
So stoked about this and got fingers, toes and everything else crossed.
