They don't put them under it isn't a complex procedure. I also would not expect the eggs to be an issue. My concern is if the snake has a jaw issue and had no RI before 2 days is very fast for RI to show symptoms. I would be concerned that the respiratory issue is a related to a physical trauma. Hence the advise to get the xray. I hope there is nothing too serious.

Well heres the update on my female. We had xrays done and her jaw bones look just fine which is good. But she has stomatitis...so mouth rot..yay. Its still pretty early on at least. The vet said her lungs sound ok, not bad at least. She looks like crap but hopefully we caught it in time. I now know why she was escaping. She has been rubbing her face because of the MR and popped her lid off her tub. Poor girl. Well hopefully its early enough because she didnt start showing visual signs until a few days ago. And it must have been the rubbing that she got her lip caught up.
Well I have injections of baytril to give her every other day...poor girl sure didnt like the shot (who would?)
So now I wait and hope she pulls through. I just worry because she should be building eggs too. I hope her body can handle it. Her appetite has been very strong, I cant remember the last time she refused a meal ever. So I know she can go a while without food. The last time she had a meal was last wednesday.

My other issue is she was just paired with my male last week too...is mouth rot contagious? I have her quarantined now away from my other BPs.
I upped her ambiant temp and I have some pedialyte in her water. I hope she pulls through.

Yes it's contagious. So keep an eye in him to make sure he dosnt have it.
I would say of she has eggs they should be ok. I don't know for sure, but I would not think it would cause any issues.
