Debora you don't think that a 3 degree gradient might be an issue?

He's on sani chips at the moment.

He seems to feel secure in the shoe box sizes tub and I think I fixed the temp problem, I cut a hole in the lid over the cool side and hot glues a screen over it. Now I just have to worry about humidity.

Poor little guy... I wouldn't want to eat ether =/

Could be a contributing factor absolutely.

Well I hope that that adjustment and prey suggestions helps to solve the issue!

I moved him to one of those nano zoomed tanks that I had sitting around with a uth on it and paper taped on all sides last night.

Today I was at the reptile shop getting a couple weeks worth of bugs and I decided to get him a live hopper while I was there even though I just moved him. It was gone within a couple minutes!!

    So exciting! Haha

I disagree.. I left a hopper mouse with a stubborn bp over night, even provided it with mouse blocks. The next morning I had one chewed up baby bp and a still live hopper. I'm glad that many of you have not have any issues, but I have. I'd leave something smaller..
