I personally am trying to find a way to challenge FWS. I think they should do a test with various species, in different parts of the states. If they can establish a population there, well....then that sucks. It doesn't put us, as pet owners, in an any different position. But, if a particular species can not survive in the wild (i.e. any of the newly banned animals in Virginia. I mean...really?:colbert:) then they are still able to be kept, sold, and transported to said area. If they had to substantiate their claims, I think others would see the foolishness of all of this. What we need to remember is we ARE the people and we can change things. Look at all of the SOPA stuff. If a big enough entity protests, the insanity ceases, or at least til the penny pinchers find another "cause". FWS is big. And they are what you could call powerful. But they are not at the top of the food chain. So let's be a perverbial python, and consume all the wildlife. It'll be our own everglades type take over.
