    What temp do you set it at? Do you set it for say 80 degrees or a little higher

    You should set it at 90 degrees to start. It needs to provide 88-92 degrees on the hot side of the tank. UTH do not effect air temperature it's just "belly heat". A probed thermometer is essential to monitor cage temperatures.

    I saw that earlier I am going to Walmart tomorrow to buy that one . I hope they have it down here now is what dept did you get that one from?

    I have seen them in the paint department and the home department when asked most walmart employes didnt know hehe so youl have to look around

    As for temps I have mine set at about 95 on the T-stat I have the probe for said T-stat taped to the Flexwatt on the bottom of the tank outside the enclosure. This give me 94 on the glass inside the tank and 91-92 on the hot spot after is gets threw my thin layer of Eco Earth bedding I use :) hope this helps. Basically I would set it to about 90-92F and adjust from there it will take a few hours up to a day for everything to stabilize then adjust from there:)
