hot side not hot enough??

I too am a college student so I feel your pain. A hydrofarm will be much better than what you have, and the Herpstat is about the best you can get. Either will be fine. Personally I use herpstats and love them.

do you have a website where i can pick one up.... the only local pet stores around here are petco and pet smart.... and u know what they sell. haha

Hydrofarms are non-proportional thermostats. this means that it turns the UTH on and off full blast to maintain the desired temperature. This causes them to be less actuate.

Herpstats are proportional thermostats this means that they vary the amount of power to keep the desired temperature. They are extremely accurate, and are built better.

well after reading that i just ordered my herpstat... it hurt to blow 100 bucks just like that but oh well my BP is totally worth it. he better like his new toy dammit!!!!!

he will, its an investment, but it should last the rest of your snakes life at least
