    Give a Haplopelma enough substrate to burrow in, and you have a pet hole :)

    Now that I've rehoused my cobalt blue so that it's got enough room to burrow happily, I never see it. Much better than it being stresed out and sitting on some kind of wood chips (bought it from a private individual at Lee's swap).

    Yeah my little psycho longipedum has numerous times burrowed until the substrate collapse. I only made the mistake of digging for fear it had died once :P

    Yeah, I crawled around underneath the shelf last night with a flashlight to check on my Cobalt. (I can see her tunnels that way). She's still alive and kicking. Molted last week..too bad she won't come out for a photoshoot.

    I see even less of the Sunburst - it's webbed the side of its crawlspace up beyond opaque - only the disappearig crickets let me know its still alive lol.
